The electrical system of the vehicle shuts down randomly, even at highway speeds. The vehical shuts off and cannot be restarted. The vehicle has to be towed. This has happened four times in three weeks on a vehicle that is two months old (purchased new in August). Each time the electrical system failed, the starter motor was burned out. The dealer replaced the starter motor three times and each time, the new starter motor was blown out. The dealer claims there is nothing they can do to correct the problem. It appears they are waiting for the 36,000 mile warranty to expire (even though there are only 2,200 miles on the vehicle) so that they will no longer have to deal with this as a warranty issue.
