This is annoying since you never know when its going to die. Also dangerous if you are on the freeway or at an Intersection. The problem is not there all the time so it can't be replicated when you take it in to get it fixed.

on a hot day and after a lengthy drive aprox 3 hours the car stopped like it was out of gas . on the roadside i decided to check to see if the engine was getting gas and took the fuel filter off and discovered it hissed and had air in it i put a new one on and it worked fine until the filter got hot again and the same thing happened . i then took the fuel line off and releaved the pressure and was on our way . the filter is behind the rad resevouir and gets no airflow to cool it down . thats my theory anyway . the car did not do this when new but it may have not been driven on a long trip in the hot weather either . thanks hope this may help. The vapour locks and the fuel filter heats up
