Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Intermittent steering loss while driving. MINIis aware of issue... offers no fix. Low mileage. Failure happened while driving turning and not turning. No warning lights or dashboard warning or message. After some research, it appears MINIis aware and very high pete stage of owners have experienced the same.... deaths have been reported.

On my 2009 MINICooper clubman with automatic transmission, the power steering failed. Our teenager was priacticing parallel parking for about 15 minutes on a hot day. After it failed, we turned off the car. Two hours later when we restarted the car it was functioning again. The dealer, says they cannot do anything unless they can reproduce the problem, which they have not. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) T
