We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Mini Cooper (although feel free to add yours here) -- it's either not very popular ... or it's very, very good.
The 2005 Mini Cooper has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is with the 2002 Cooper for water on floor shorted out wiring harness.

transmission failure -- 2005 Cooper:
Mini knew the 2005 transmissions was a dud the time it died and they should have owned up it and offered me a trade in. I didn't know It was a known problem. power door locks will not unlock -- 2005 Cooper:
My mother and I went to my sons house in my mini .When we arrived We could open the door .The lock would not unlock. sticky oil under front wheel -- 2005 Cooper:
Noticed a sticky substance on right front fender and under the car. Took it in to the dealer and found that the upper motor mount, which is [or was] fluid filled had collapsed. No suggestion of wear or deterioration of the rubber was suggested by the mechanic; it apparently just died. Read more »
