The contact owns a 2009 Pontiac G5 coupe. The contact purchased the vehicle during the day time. When it became night time, he noticed that there was no interior lighting. The instrument panel and gear lights were the only working lights in the vehicle. He called the manufacturer and they stated that the vehicle was designed in that manner. The contact feels that it is a safety hazard to not have any interior lighting. The failure and current mileages were 4,000. Updated 6/4/09 the consumer stated the light would go out when the door was opened. Updated 06/09/09.
