They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac Torrent. The contact stated another vehicle crashed into the rear end of the vehicle and the seat belt failed to secure. Also, the contact mentioned that the air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained neck and back injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. However, the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,591.
