I just bought this vehicle about two months ago. Issues ever since then. My battery died and I had to get someone to jump it. Once it started back up the "service traction" warning light was on. No one can tell me what the issue is and I was told to contact GM for further help. Can someone please advise. I have been reading forums and it does not seem to be safe at all.

On a recent trip to Kingston, the service stabilitrac, sensitrac light came on and wouldn't go out. After a few stops, shutting the car off, it didn't come on again. A couple of days later, on another trip to Kitchener, the light came on a again. Same thing, after a few stops, shutting the car off, the light didn't come on. How do you "service the stabilitrac "

I am a retired licensed mechanic, unfortunately I am not up to date on the new electronics etc. When I was on the floor we actually repaired vehicles. I am concerned, because we are heading to Florida soon, I have heard that this could affect brakes, steering, acceleration and who knows what else. I don't want to be sitting on the side of the road in the States.
