The contact owns a 2003 Saturn L200. The contact stated that while driving 20 mph, the vehicle suddenly accelerated up to 30 mph. The contact shifted into neutral and the vehicle stopped. The contact shut the vehicle off and restarted it; upon restart, the rpms increased rapidly. The vehicle was towed to a local repair shop. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified. The failure mileage was 90,000.
