We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Saturn SL (although feel free to add yours here) -- it's either not very popular ... or it's very, very good.
The 1994 Saturn SL has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is with the 1997 SL for clutch started slipping.

The car was running fine until i let it sit for 6 months. It needed new tires and I didn't want to deal with it. Then it wouldn't start. I bought a new battery and it was working great. This car has given me nothing but grief. The odometer is broken, the radiator has been fixed more times than I can count, overheats every now and then, and the coolant system had to be replaced. water pump failure -- 1998 SL:
Ok I had a really really bad leak... took me forever to find it. It was not that bad at first but then one day I filled up my tank full of water and got on the road.. not even a mile later.... *bring bring* "mom bring me some water.. a lot of it!!! driver's side window leaking -- 1994 SL:
The door/window would leak every time it rained, and eventually ruined the driver's seat. Tried using silicon to stop the leak, but to no avail. Ended up driving around with a pile of towels in the back of the car. Read more »
