Outback Limited 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 600 miles

Now almost one year and 12,000 miles after purchase, it still gets about 20% poorer gas mileage than published. No help at all from complaint to dealer, and from complaint to Subaru.

We bought this over other similar vehicles primarily because of gas mileage, which makes this issue hard to stomach.

Update from Nov 12, 2014: Now at 16 months and have complained to dealer again. Mileage is still approximately 20% worse than Subaru would lead you to believe!
