The engine was rebuilt in March 2019 with 17,000 miles due to oil leak. Oil seals and gaskets all replaced. It took one week to complete work. Since then the "Low oil" light comes on frequently, very frequently. The main problem is that the engine seems to be "using" a quart of oil about every 1000 to 1500 miles. So the light indicates that the oil is low, but not too low. The dealer now states that using a quart every 1,200 miles or so is within Subaru's acceptable tolerance. The service manager tells me to just bring in the car and they will add a quart when needed. That is not acceptable, but I'm not sure what to do about it.
