I purchased car from BMW for 8000.00 cash- sales man johnny said car fax report was perfect- no accident- no problems. they lied. I had no warranty, so as soon as I left the dealership the check engine light came on. took it back to BMW, they had it towed to Friedman auto on route 27 in Edison, new jersey-the problem persists. The light just would not come off. I was unable to have car inspected. As soon as I had a problem fixed, and thought I could have it inspected- the light would come on.IT HAS BEEN MY NIGHTMARE. FINALLY STOPPED WORKING LESS THAN THREE MONTHS AFTER I PURCHASED IT. BMW STATED I BOUGHT CAR AS IS-REFUSED TO PAY FOR NEW ENGINE. THEY KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG, BECAUSE CAR HAD AN ENGINE/FUEL PUMP RECALL IN 2008. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. BMW IS A CROOK. PLEASE HELP ME. I BOUGHT IT FROM BMW IN EDISON NEW JERSEY. CAR WAS TOWED TO QUALITY AUTO AT MY EXPENSES IN JANUARY. THEY ARE LOCATED IN FRANKLIN PARK. CAR IS A LEMON AND THEY KNOW IT. IF I HAD BOUGHT CAR IN NY- I WOULD HAVE BEEN GUARANTEED A 90 DAY WARRANTY-BIG MISTAKE. I REALIZE THAT BMW IS JUST AS BAD AS THE OTHER CROOKED CAR DEALERSHIP. THIS CAR IS GOING TO COST ME OVER 4000.00$ TO REPAIR- REMEMBER ENGINE HAD A PRIOR RECALLL- WHAT SHOULD I DO, I AM BROKE. AND HAS TO SAVE FOR REPAIR. THEY SHOULD AT LEAT COVER ONE HALF OF REPAIR
