Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

For the second time in 6 months, the vehicle lost all power without warning while in transit. Yesterday, it occurred on a major highway at 60 mph. The car died without warning with resultant loss of power stearing, breaking, dash, etc. We were able to coast into a breakdown lane, but it could have been disasterous. State police arrived within minutes of dialing 911. This happened 6 months ago as well and the dealership replaced a fuel injector module. The internet is repleat with very similar issues involving this model and vintage. The common response from Volvo dealers seems to be that it is an "act of god". this is a defect, not an act of god, and these vehicles should be recalled. It is only a matter of time before there will be major injuries or deaths as a result of the defect.

- Hamilton , MA, USA
