Takata recall. This is the second time ive had to file a complaint. My car keeps dying in the middle of the road while I'm driving just randomly. It gives no warning or anything I can't drive my car in the heat or at night. I've been to the BMW dealership here and it's been 6months and they still don't have the recall parts. It's a very serious safety issue please contact me soon
I was driving on a busy highway between 70-80 mph. The engine stalled and I was unable to press the gas. I managed to get the car off on an exit due to momentum. After sitting in a parking lot for 30 minutes, the car cranked back up without any issue. The stalling issue has occurred twice.

I received a safety recall from BMW in 11/17 for a blower motor wiring. I called my BMW dealer today, and they say they still don't have the parts to fix this. Why does it take over 6 mos to fix a recall?
I began experiencing trouble with my 2009 BMW 328I sedan as early as January 2017. The air conditioner would sometimes go on and at other times it wouldn't go off.I was experiencing the same problems with the heater. Shortly after my car began to overheat and stall out.it would hold back until I was in 4th gear, if I even made it that far before dying out. It began to sound like a old VW. L reached out to my local BMW service dept. For repairs. I was told that the problems my vehicle was having, .was not under recall by BMW at that time. And that any repairs done to my vehicle would have to come out of pocket. At the time it wasn't an option. I had the repairs done at a local independent auto repair shop.11 months later I began experiencing the exact same problems all over again. Since February 2018 I have been reaching out for assistance to repair my vehicle defects which are now under recall by BMW, with no success. I've attached an outlined history of my contact with BMW customer relations.my vehicle remains stationary at my place of residences, awaiting a phone approval by BMW customer relations to BMW roadside assistance.for towing.

I had to replace the positive crankcase ventilation PCV valve heater and harness in April of 2017 because it melted. This cost me $3000 at patrick BMW in schaumburg, il. I later found out that there is a recal # 17V-683 concerning this. I never received a letter from BMW about the recall. However, I'm looking to get reimbursed for my out of pocket charges. When I took my car to the closest dealer, I was told I had to wait to receive the reimbursement. Therefore, I'd like to file a complaint. In addition, I smell a burnt smell from time to time. I know there is a blower motor recall as well. I've experienced problems with the blower motor on my car since the first year of owning it. When I asked the dealer about the smell - I was told there were no signs of a burning smell. I'm concerned because the smell is not constant only on occasion. My fear is my car will catch on fire and cause damage to me or my property. Please tell me my rights concerning filing a claim on both recalls. One for reimbursement and the other for replacing the blower motor.
