Summary
"?CCM: ""START/STOP FAILED"": LOSS OF POWER . Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated Check Control Message (CCM) states ""Auto Start/Stop function failed"" One or more of the following codes may be stored in the DME fault memory' 120408: ""Charging pressure control: switching off as a subsequent reaction"" 130F20: ""Exhaust camshaft: angular offset to crankshaft outside of tolerance"" 130E20: ""Intake camshaft: angular offset to crankshaft outside of tolerance"" 164040: ""Intake camshaft: Installation faulty"" 164041: ""Exhaust camshaft: Installation faulty"" Incorrect camshafts timing position (in reference to crankshaft). Combustions occurring just as engine is stopping, drive the engine backwards, dragging the belt drive and toothed belt starter motor backwards. High-inertia torque loading on the camshaft sprockets and crankshaft at this point causes slippage, unintentionally adjusting the timing."
