I bought my Z 71 Crew cab Colorado used from a dealer in Denton Texas. The next day I drove to my in-laws house in Jackson Miss. I noticed that the temp would run from mid range up to the 3/4 mark and stay there...I kept watching it and luckily it never got any hotter. In the summer with A/C on..the temp quickly rides to the 3/4 mark and stays there.
My mechanic checked it and said maybe it's the radiator. I asked if it could be the Thermostat...maybe the wrong one. It was the right thermostat...
