TOOK MY TRUCK IN TO THE DEALER BECAUSE OF A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. FIRST I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE FUEL TANK EMISSIONS CANISTER AND $200 LATER I WAS BACK ON THE ROAD, ONLY TO FIND THE ENGINE LIGHT RETURN ONCE AGAIN. ANOTHER TRIP TO THE DEALER NOW REVEALS A LEAKING CYLINDER HEAD AND NOT THE GASKET AND NOT AN EASY FIX.

COME TO FIND OUT, THIS SERIES TRUCK MODELS 2005 THRU 2007 HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE CYLINDER HEADS AND I AM LOOKING AT QUITE A BIT OF MONEY FOR THE FIX . ONLY 82,000 MILES ON THIS TRUCK SO THINGS LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN GM. THEY ALREADY OWE ME FOR A BREAK LIGHT SWITCH REPAIR I PAID FOR OUT OF POCKET FOR WHICH THEY NOW SAY IS A RECALL BUT I HAVE SEEN NO GREEN.

STEP UP TO THE PLATE GM AND RECALL THESE TRUCKS OR PAY FOR THE REPAIR WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURS UP TO A REASONABLE TIME FRAME AND MILEAGE POINT. AS FOR ME, MY DAYS OF WEARING THE GOLDEN BOW TIE ARE DONE. JUST LAST YEAR, LOST A TRANNY IN A 2006 TRAILBLAZER WITH ONLY 72,000 MILES. TIME TO GO SHOPPING!
