A/C not working properly

2015 Chevy Colorado Z71, A/C Hose keep cracking. I bought a Extended Warranty when I got my truck, and I'm glad I did. Love the truck hate the A/C lines. The A/C Hose (part number 23354342) keeps cracking in the same area. The assembly seem to be strong enough but I've had to replace this line 3 time in the last 1 1/2 years. Next time it happens and if GM doesn't correct the problem, I'm elevating this to a legal issue. GM has not issued a recall on this and I cant believe My Colorado is the only one with this problem.

The Aluminum hose has a mass of weight hanging on it with no support. Over time and vibration the aluminum hose develops metal fatigue and cracks, causing a leak. I just had it replace for the 3rd time today (April 8 2020).

I'll post again when if happens for the 4th time.

The Chevy Colorado year 2015 and up is a piece of junk. Since I bought this truck I have had solenoid valve problems, transmission problems, Key ignition problems (It would not come out), and now my AC does not work. The Truck is cheaply built and owning it means having to replace (Our of Pocket) everything before it works property. Not to mention the touch screen I have goes on and off from time to time. I know that will be next problem. How to fix? Do not buy! And if you already have then trade it in for a Ford or Dodge. Clearly GM has not fully recovered from the faulty ignition switch scandal that they were sued by the SEC for. Half the problems you may can catch while still under warranty but buyer beware you will be back in forward to a Dealership if you purchase this vehicle. Truck looks great and is great on gas... But after that is disaster. Pretty sure if I don't trade this car in I now have to replace the AC compressor. And I just had to replace the whole drive shaft and key ignition switch 4 months ago.

AC not working - blowing outside air instead of cold air. I looked up the issue and found several others with the same issue. Was also told by a manager that works at an Auto Body shop that I know due to the work I do that Chevrolet vehicles are rated the worse now and they are very cheaply made and to make sure I don't purchase another Chevrolet vehicle again. He stated that the interior is very cheaply made and falls apart quickly, the body parts are also cheaply made and there are a lot of issues with the AC.

The heater quit working after about 6 months due to a broken plastic part. The dealer fixed it. I can feel it coming, this truck is definitely a lemon so am planning to pursue this because of the engine issues.

Hi, So far with my 2015 Colorado I love it! The truck is awesome however I have had issues with the A/C. The evaporator temperature sensor went out. I noticed something was wrong with my A/C because the truck would blow amazingly cold air but then start blowing outside air. It was like it was on a cycle. Now I am having another A/C issue. My A/C compressor will not kick on so I am taking it back to the dealership and will write a new complaint on that issue when I get it back. I am now at 2000 miles the first problem happened at 1500.
