This power assist failure occurred when I was on the freeway. The steering wheel became difficult to turn but luckily, I was able to exit the freeway and find a safe place to park and call AAA. If there were sharp turns that I would have had to make, I think I would have lost control of the vehicle and crashed. It was a scary situation and one that Chevrolet needs to add to the 2016 model recall since it was a recall under the 2015 models.
