- ISS Clunking Noise Fix - The main issue with a faulty ISS is this: You will notice popping/clunking coming from your front end when turning. Especially when turning at low speeds. You can feel the popping and clunking through the steering wheel, almost like there are some small rocks in the steering column. If you feel something like this, you need to lube/replace your ISS.

The first time the noise happened they replaced a steering rod. Now they are saying it's the steering gear with a price of $1200. I have never had vehicle with so many problems. Chevy should fix the problems of the steering.
