WE HAVE BEEN PUTTING UP WITH KNOCKING, CLUNKING AND BANGING WHEN YOU TURN STEERING WHEEL. BEEN IN SHOP SEVERAL TIMES WITH ONLY TEMPORARY REPAIR. WAS TOLD BY A MECHANIC THE ONLY REPAIR IS TO REPLACE STEERING COLUMN AT $1500.00. NO THANKS.

I am mad as hell because while on the interstate my brakes locked up and caught on fire. I had other cars blowing to tell me it was smoking and I had no exit to get off. Once I was off I had to pay a tow. I went to the dealer and they told me there was no recall. Now I constantly have to replace brakes and rotors.

Until I saw the recalls on TV I felt I just got a bad Deal. I think all of these cars should be Replaced. When I hit the side wall of the rail when they locked up, it busted my front fender and that was more money. Now that my car has been paid for over a few years it is hard to get a mechanic to check. They all say this is the WORST car Chevrolet ever made.

On a clear day, I was driving a Chevrolet Malibu 2005 on a major highway going 100 km/hr. I was travelling on the centre lane. I was about 5 car lengths behind, then I applied light pressure on the brakes, and I uncontrollable skidded to the left colliding with the concrete median. What happened, I will never understand. How could I have skidded when I applied light pressure to the brake? I will never feel safe driving a “Chevrolet" again.
