Turned on A/C to level "5" while set on defrost/ floor setting. noticed that it wasn't blowing as i figured it should. then the air felt warmish... then smoke started pouring out of the dashboard! smelled like "a car fire" with that ever so present plastic/ carcinogen taste in my mouth, and odor now stuck in the car. i quickly shut the truck off and bailed out trying to collect my most valuable things from the vehicle, thinking it would continue to burn!... it didn't! now the a/c still kinda works just not the level 5 setting. i can't afford to take it to the shop to get it fixed. this sucks. chevy, my truck let me down. not fair! i take care of it, it should take care of me!
