Towing a load up a hill the transmission locked into 3rd gear. You can smell the transmission heating up. Truck runs fine on level roads. Was told by Scott Grove "Coast Mtn GM" the truck is new and it's training itself. Afterward was told there is nothing mechanically wrong with the truck it's just the software. GM knows the problem and is working on a solution. They still have my truck at the dealership. They sent me a Dodge Ram so I could finish my trip. Not sure why they didn't send me a Chevy truck. My truck only has 10800 km. I think most people don't tow and may not be aware of the problem. I did tow once before without a problem. I don't like to be "Bull $@!!*#. The Dodge Ram diesel ran great. Excellent fuel economy. I'm looking at purchasing a Dodge to replace my Chevy truck. Thanks Scott for sending me that Ram truck.
