This car has a poor;y engineered windshield wiper system and has broken 3 times in the 8 years that I owned this car. The w/w transmission snaps when there is heavy snow and it builds up under the wipers as you are driving. Thee is a loud snap and then one (the drivers side) of the wipers stops working while the other continues. It is a royal pain in the ass, and very dangerous. As I said, it happened 3 times to me. It is simply not heavy duty enough for the job. Poorly designed!!!!
