Bought the 2013 Suburban new. Keep it meticulously clean, washed, waxed and mechanically maintained. Noticed about 3 years after having it the side molding was discoloring on the top, appear to look like rust color, although the part is plastic. Took it to the dealer for their body shop manager to review. Told it was not covered under warranty but they would give me a deal and rather replace both parts for $600 only charge me $300. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Pay over $50K for a vehicle and the exterior trim looks like crap after 3 years!!!! And you have to pay $300. for it to look good!
I did not pay and still have the vehicle, trim looks a little worse. That's fine, if anyone wants to notice this, and know that Chevy puts out expensive products that look like turds just a few years later....
