navigation doesn't recognize county roads Navigation doesn't recognize any county roads in Wisconsin. If you are on them it says "Unnamed Road" on the map. The directions provided will route you to your designation avoiding them (since it doesn't know they exist). It knows there is a road there but that's it. These are all older, well established roads.
First they had be do a hard reset of the system. Didn't fix it.
Second had to purchase the software update. Didn't fix it.
Dealership said they knew about it and I had to live with it. NOT!
Called GM and got transferred to system's manufacturer. They had nothing on file about it so apparently everyone is just "living with it!" I'm not. The caring and very thorough gal - researched it and could see what I was talking about. Admitted software update won't fix it. Submitting it to an engineer to resolve. She emailed me her contact information and indicated that if I didn't hear anything in a few weeks to get in touch with her.
She further called the dealership's service department and spoke with its manager. Told them they do not want their customers living with any problem or short coming and that they be submitting the issue to them so it can be addressed. THANK YOU!
