My truck will go from having a half a tank of gas to being completely on E within the blink of an eye, gas light dinging, all while i just lost power driving down the interstate at 75 mph. Loss in power, won't go ove 45 mph, then 30mph, but if you stop and let it sit for a few minutes, it will start up and may not give you this problem again for a week or so or longer or it may do the same thing in 10 minutes. Seems to only happen when it's very hot outside while driving on open highway. Mechanic suggests replacing the throttle body, but i think i'm going to clean it first. Have read where several people are having this same problem....anyone found a fix???
