CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2002-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer is known for many things, but perhaps it is most famous for its faulty fuel gauge.

This gauge flip-flops more than a politician during election season. Some report that the gauge says "empty" after a fill-up, while others report the gauge says "full" when they're running on fumes. Either way, there's one thing everyone seems to agree on: the darn thing is just wrong.

Following hundreds of complaints and a few accidents allegedly caused by the malfunction, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into the issue in May 2011. Unfortunately for frustrated owners, no recall has been announced.

Switched the vehicle from 2 wheel drive to auto and the lights to the switch went out and the error light came on with the wheels on it. It was stuck in auto and was causing me to go through gas like it is cheap. Needless to say I paid to have the 4-wheel drive fixed just to have it go out again two weeks later. I have not taken it back yet for the company that did the work the first time to fix it again.

got a 2007 chevy Trailblazer 2 years ago this suv was bought pre-owned the second year we had activated the onstar system then when we had that done the vehicle would chime for no reason! then all of a sudden it done it and the check engine light came on along with the service soon engine light. i was worried at this point so i called onstar and ran a check on the vehicle and they could not tell me anything. so i just let it go and the lights went off the next day it was started. a week had past and then it done it once again with the chiming and the lights came back on so i called onstar again and had them do the procedure again this time to find out that the power train in the vehicle is going out! we still own this suv but its getting traded off very soon! if anyone has helpful info on this problem please email me at: brylerd@gmail.com .
