CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2002-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer is known for many things, but perhaps it is most famous for its faulty fuel gauge.

This gauge flip-flops more than a politician during election season. Some report that the gauge says "empty" after a fill-up, while others report the gauge says "full" when they're running on fumes. Either way, there's one thing everyone seems to agree on: the darn thing is just wrong.

Following hundreds of complaints and a few accidents allegedly caused by the malfunction, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into the issue in May 2011. Unfortunately for frustrated owners, no recall has been announced.

The only brake light that works is the top one in the center. These lower brake lights are only a FRACTION of the problems with this lemon. Of course Chev can't "recreate" any of my complaints BEFORE my warranty ran out 2 mths ago and now, like 100km over, it all started, numerous things. I know I started this with brake lights but how about feeling like you are getting rear ended at idol in park or holding the brakes, jolts that bad since 20,000km that "can't be recreated".

Are the Chev mechanics so stupid that they don't know what's wrong to look in the right direction even if they "can't recreate it"? Do the service people feel this is coming out of their pay cheques to actually back the vehicles sold??? Random stalling in traffic, "can't recreate it"....you know how dangerous that is CHEVY ppl!? Are you listening?? Every damn hose, cord, etc almost under my hood was leaking or broken and had to be replace, yes before warranty was up but how ridiculous, this is not the first vehicle I own, I've never seen the likes of this. Radiator fixed, holes, the hose also, the heater core which CHEV mechanics shattered my windshield and because I didn't take pictures of it prior it's OH WELL to bad!??

This is the GARBAGE SERVICE I've received. Lets see, what else....100km over my warranty, my key now constantly gets locked in the ignition. No help from CHEV, i found that its sometimes the actual key and sometimes the vehicle doesn't recognize it's in park. There is a component that has gone that i can't afford to fix, now brake lights, all these things after paying $35G for a truck that I thought would be reliable as a single parent with two boys. It has been the WORST headache, money guzzler pig that I have ever owned and CHEV has left me on my own with it with no damn care in the world! I still owe $15G on this sickening vehicle and it's worth NOTHING! I had to go buy a used FORD Thunderbird with 1,126,000km on it for RELIABLILITY! Yes, i said FORD with over one million kms on it that i paid $550 for in the winter to be able to get to work to pay our bills including the BROKEN, PATHETIC, SICKENING, MONEY GUZZLING PIECE OF JUNK TRAILBLAZER because i still owe on a piece of JUNK that I CAN'T DRIVE!!! The Ford now has 1,132,000km, I've put a few hundred into it in service and it's 100x the vehicle as the Blazer.

TAKE THAT CHEV, YOU SUCK!
