The frustrating part about this is that I had taken the vehicle in after being notified of a "Liftgate Safety Recall". I questioned if I should even do this since the liftgate was working great .... you know "why fix what isn't broke?"
I was told that I should bring it in as it is not opening fully and this will prematurely wear out the motor. So I went in and had the service done. I used the liftgate a few times and it seemed fine. Then suddenly, for no apparent reason, it wouldn't open. I hear the motor make a noise, but the liftgate won't move. I made sure doors were unlocked. It has been a couple months now and I cannot access the back through the liftgate.
