Both front struts failed at the same tim. Seized up. Would not recoil at all, could not move them. Replaced both struts and sway bar links and sway bar bushings. Took no chances did not deal with the dealership for the cost would have been double.

Lets just say I am highly pissed. I bought the car used over a year ago. I have had nothing but problems out of the vehicle since I have had it. I was driving the car one day and noticed it dipped down and then came back up. I was like did I hit something? but the answer to that question was no. Then I started to notice that the car was pulling. Next, it started to make noise. Then out of nowhere the wheel started shaking.

I took it into the shop and they said that it was the struts. Okay, I figured how did the struts go bad I haven't even driven the car 30,000 miles yet. (when I bought the car, they said that the service was up to date and it was well maintained.) So, I got up this morning a take it to the shop so I can order whatever parts it may need and the first thing they see is the SWAY BAR/STABILIZING BAR is broken in two. where the sway bar is located it would be no way that I could have hit anything or done anything to cause this damage.

Now, the car has been parked for over a month. the shop foreman and owner and all mechanic came over to take a look at the vehicle and everyone was trying to figure out how. I called Chevy and the rep was no damn help. talked to me like I was stupid and gave me no more information then I could find out myself online. I'm so frustrated. Now it looking like over $1000 alone with just that. Not to mention what else is wrong due to this one little problem. Lets just say I'm in the ball park of paying over almost $2500-$3000 plus I still have a car payment.. I'm so upset I need some help. I could of gotten into a serious accident with my kids in the back in some major traffic. Then what? Now, I'm stuck in a loan on a piece of sh*t truck.
