CarComplaints.com Notes: There are a fair-number of power steering related complaints which is a continuation of problems from the previous model year. Considering the problem tends to happen beyond the standard warranty (73k+) it's best to avoid this vehicle or at least be prepared for the $1,300+ repair.

This problem has happened 2 times since I purchased my car. The first time was December 2018 and the second in November 2019. The air intake looks like it has oil in it, but smells like gas. We purchase a new throttle and sensor each time but this issue is very irritating as their is no warning before it happens but after it does my vehicle will not move faster than 15 mph and the first time this happened, I was driving my kids to school. My traction control light came on and I lose power... I have had my car for 3 years and will be trading it in this tax season as this issue makes this vehicle very unreliable especially for families.
