This is STILL not fixed. I have spent well over $2000 and the brakes STILL lock up if there is any type of incline in any direction OR if the car happens to roll when brakes are applied. It has been taken to Royal Ford in Owego NY, Maguire Toyota in Ithaca Ny, Scoville-Meno in Owego NY (a Chevy Dealership), Monro Muffler and Brake in Owego NY and NO ONE can figure out why it's happening. I have had to have this car towed FIVE times because the brakes locked, costing me a couple hundred dollars in fees.
I am now behind on my regular bills and my credit is so bad I cannot even trade the car in for something else. I drive it anyway. I have to put my foot UNDER the brake pedal and lift up firmly until I can get the brakes to release enough to move. This is NOT safe but I have no other options. My daughter just got her learner's permit but I cannot allow her to learn on my car because it is not safe for her to drive. Our family runs a rescue. This is ruining our life. I'm a single mom who purchased this car after buying a bunch of lemons, thinking I was getting the car of my dreams. It has all the bells and whistles we want and need for our active family... except its unsafe :(
