The driver did not sustain any injuries and a police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop that repaired the structural damages, but the air bag malfunction was not investigated. On another occasion, while traveling approximately 25 mph, the vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle again. The air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained an injury to the humerus and received medical attention. A police report was filed. The contact later received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14V817000 (air bags) but experienced two crashes in which the air bags did not deploy before the recall repair was able to be performed. The manufacturer was not notified of the crashes. The air bag malfunction was not investigated for either crash. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
