I attempted to change the tire with the dealer provided scissor jack. The scissor jack is not rated for the weight of the front end of the vehicle. I lifted the front right hand tire off the ground. Once I got the tire off of the vehicle, the jack failed. The weight of the vehicle was enough to bend the metal of the jack, crushing it. The frame of the vehicle was nearly touching the ground making it extremely difficult to get another lifting instrument underneath the vehicle. I purchased a replacement floor jack for future breakdowns.
