Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

When I put my car in gear, drive or reverse, a 2 to 3 second clicking noise comes from the transmission area. I took it to the dealer and they said it was common in Chrysler vehicle. They said it was a box with several solenoids clicking through its sequence. The sound is very noticeable in garages.

Transmission bangs when shifting gears while driving. When shifting gears from park to drive, sometimes it makes a big bang/knock going into gear. Also, engine has died while waiting at a stop light. Engine RPM needle fluctuates when driving.
