The car starts and runs for 3 seconds then quits. This will continue for 6 attempts then will not turn over again.
The local dealerships have charged for a new battery and two other parts. Both times the vehicles PCM was flashed and the vehicle ran great for a month. Their last suggestion was a PCM replacement would be required.
I found a supplier, ordered and installed a replacement PCM myself. Very simple. The car now is back to the 'start and run for 3 seconds' and then stops.
What the hell?
