PT Cruiser

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,560 miles

This p.t. has low mileage and I was driving home from a trip and late at night. All of a sudden while going 65 mph, on a flat freeway, nice weather it made a loud whinning sound and started to slow down, I put it in low gear and was able to move to the shoulder of the freeway, I saw an exit about 1/2 mile away and it was able to move slow in 3rd, for me to get off the freeway and call for help. It was towed to my apt. and in a week I took it to the transmission shop and a gear was completely worn out, The owner said the cause was because of cheap parts and not the driver fault.
