I am second owner and maintain my car very well. This was not caused by me and frustrating not having a car and having to have car torn down piece by piece for the warranty inspector and be in a rental, that I am not sure yet if it will be covered. This car is not even 3 years old. I bought from a dealer with 45652 miles on it and it was a rental car with great maintenance records and in awesome shape. I take good care of my car and love it, so frustrated this is all happening and may not be covered. The waiting is killing me. 4th cylinder is only at 70PSI for pressure and 123 Cylinders are at 160 PSI.. opened cylinder head and no debree or foreign objects to cause or water, but walls scorned...

Avenger

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Dealer wants to charge $1000 deposit to remove cylinder and check. States if it can be fixed, the $1000 will be applied to the fix. If it can't, the $1000 will be applied to a new or used engine at $2000 minimum for a used engine. A car with only 60,000 miles should not need a new engine. I am very disappointed they state no warranty coverage.
