I am on my third battery and have no idea what is causing the car to start a few times, then won't start. It has to be boosted to go, until the time the battery will not take anymore boosting and has to be replaced with a new one. I have lights, radio, door chimes, locks and everything, but car will not start, just gives a little click at times.

I am on my third battery and have to unhook both battery cables after each and every use...put something around the battery to protect it so cables do not touch the battery. Reconnect the battery cables when I want to drive somewhere. This is proving to be a giant pain and having just had shoulder surgery, it is causing me a lot of pain.

Now unsure if it's a Relay under the left fender (driver's side) or the main wiring box under the fuse box panel under the hood...I really need some help here. Relay is not high in price but the unit under the hood is over $1000 here to replace, plus labor and it might not be that.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have an 08' Caliber that was purchased used a year ago, since then I have had battery troubles three times, had to replace a major pully (sorry i forget the correct name) and replace light bulbs in rear of car.I also once had an 08 300 that i purchased new. It began its troubles with the scrape plate under front end. It began to tear up with regular road travel. It got so bad that I finally had to get under the car and pull the dang thing off because it was hanging so low. On top of that, rear tires blew on the highway. Huge holes straight through on both sides of the tires. Omg....dodge/chrysler need to get their act together. as a single mom, i depended on these high spoken, quality vehicle makers to provide just that. My caliber stalled on me tonight once again. Third time my boys and I have been stranded. I DON'T HAVE the money to repair this car!!!!
