The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that the push button start failed to function properly. The contact had to use the remote to start the vehicle. In addition, the manufacturer had not supplied the repair parts to the dealer within a reasonable time frame, so the contact was uncertain as to when the vehicle would be repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 17V435000 (electrical system). The dealer (cronic Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 2515 N expressway, griffin, ga 30223, (770) 227-4271) indicated that the contact was placed on a waiting list. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was not available. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

On this date 7/3/17 my husband and daughter were visiting the library when our vehicle stalled. Thankfully they were in a safe location and had just parked. Prior to leaving the house my husband noticed a whistling sound coming from the hood of the vehicle. After the car stalles the vehicle was towed to our home. It was later identified that the alteenator has gone out. It was replaced. Now mpving forward to 9/6/2017 my husband and I recieve a recall notice in the mail from NHTSA stating in bold print and great detail that prompt action to repair this vehicle is needed. The recall notice also gave direction on how the dealer and NHTSA must rectify the situation in a timely manner. Action on our end was taken and my husband took the risk of driving the vehicle to a dealer sure that the issue would ve rectified. Now the part to remedy this recall is currently unavailable and no accomadation on either NHTSA or any Dodge dealerahip has been given to my family. This is risking a vehicle being driven on a road that was stated in bold print detailing the severity of the issue and the risk of injury and crash. Yet noone is concerned about the saftey of its customers. All that is veing asked is that a rental vehicle be accomatated until the recall is fixed. The recall states the vehicle must be repaired yet how am I suppose to continue on with getting my children to and from school and my husband and self to work. I am extremely concerned and upset that nothing is veing dobe to ensure the saftey and lives of your customers. Your taking the risk of injury with a unsafe vehicle on the road. And would greatly appreciate promt attention on this matter

As I was driving on the free way, I noticed my check engine light came on. At first I thought it may have been a minute issue. However, my car started jerking, declining speed, and became hesitate to continue motion as if the power of my car was about to stop. After ten minutes the engine light went off as I continued to drive the car at a reducing speed. However, the light came back on and the symptoms continued again. At this time I'm very concerned that my car needs to be on the recall as this is a serious issue. My light is still on as of 3/6/2017.

Car has been to dealer 3 times so far for failure to start. Car will crank continually but never start. Eventually the car will shut itself off. PCM was replaced on first repair. Car ran fine for a few days and then the problem resurfaced. Car was brought in again for repaid and the tipm as well as some wiring was replaced. Car ran fine again for two days and the problem resurfaced. Had the car towed back to the dealer but upon receiving the car the dealer said the car started right up with no issues. The dealer had the car for two weeks in an attempt to reproduce the failure with no success. Car was returned to me with a suggestion to call them directly the next time it fails to start.

The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Challenger. Upon starting the vehicle, it hesitated as if it would stall. The dealer was notified several times for months and indicated that they only had four parts available for the repair. The dealer stated that it may be longer than a month before they could order the part, which was unreasonable. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was unable to provide a reasonable time frame to provide the part and recall remedy. The failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect.
