The only car I have ever seen that you can not turn the radio off. Ok, I can't turn it off but it will not stay muted. I mute when parking but when I start the engine the radio is unmuted. It is very irritating. My wife's 2015 Mini Cooper S mutes the radio and it stays muted until turned back on.
Turning the volume down up stopping is stupid there has a software/firmware fix. You fixed the hacking problem work on this next.
Update from Nov 17, 2015: Chrysler sent an update and I got excited. Wrong, all they fixed was to make the radio system less hack-able, they say. I received a Email from customer support that said it was engineered that way. I worked for a large electronics company if our engineers did that they would have been fired long ago.
