While driving my car at times will shift into neutral, the car says service transmission, service shifter, autostick unavailable, gear not available and put car in reverse and try another gear and a lot of lights show up on the dash. The last time it happened was on Friday 12/20/19 I was at a stoplight and the car began to beep and stating service transmission etc. As stated before, I then had some people push me off the road since the car will just go into neutral no matter what gear it is in. After the car being left there until Sunday 12/22/19 it would still not work, I had the car towed to my home. And it started working again, I went around the block and once going 40 mph the car started beeping and went into neutral and saying all the things said before, I was pushed back home. This morning I tried it again and as soon as I turn it on it states the same service transmission etc. I have had my car towed 4 separate occasions within the last 6 months

Well my car headlight and the paneling caught on fire in my car went to car hop to advise them took the car to one of there dealers advised that they don't do electrical at the same time the recall came in advised me that a recall was needed too K it to dealership and as of now 30 days behind on the part advised carhop that the repairs have been made before I brought the car that wasn't done correctly which made me have to pay for the recall work they swear they didn't bit the state and carfax say otherwise it wasn't done by Dodge in no state but by there mechanics at this time the car is dangerous to drive it's still at Dodge and carhop said they will resell it to another family even though I advised them the panel caught on fire and there is a short

I was driving on a busy highway. Have a manual transmission. Rpms started going up and down, like I was revving the engine, but was not pushing in gas pedal. Put clutch in to get off an exit, and the clutch stuck to the floor and the car would not go into gear. Left on very busy highway with a child!

The car will not start. All the lights and electrical come on when key is in, but the car doesn't even try to turn over. I already had a sensor replaced that was suppose to be the problem, but it keeps occurring. Gives a warning that states autostick is unavailable, service transmission. It also keeps telling me I have a parking light out, which I don't. the car also has a brand new battery. This needs to be fixed. I am tired of wondering if my car will start when I need to get my children from school.

The clutch peddle goes to floor and won't return it is stated by many others that the clutch peddle slave cylinders are defective in these cars when this happens it made the car unsafe to drive try to get in to a Dodge dealership they sais it will be a week before they will be able to look at it they know their is a problem with this part I do have documentation about others having tis same issue.

On 9/23/19 I was stopped at a red light and was hit in the rear and was push into the vehicle in front of me. The force of impact was so extreme my car was totaled and I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Not even one air bag deployed!!! they say this car has 10 air bags and not one of them deployed. I could have been killed but by the grace of god I wasn't. I want answers as to why not even one of my 10 air bags did not deploy. The entire rear of my car was pushed into the back seat, the front of the car the hood was pushed to the windshield, like I said the car is totaled. If you could see my car you would be asking, why did not one air bag deploy, this is definitely a defect that could of cost me my life!

Car needs shifter cable bushings on the transmission, without the proper bushings, the transmission might not be able to be shifted, even though the shifter may show the transmission has been shifted. I called the dealership, and the fca recall assistance center and was told the new parts were not available nor did anyone know when they would be. Since then, I have heard nothing though I was promised an update. Meanwhile I drive the car with great fear, I have no choice but to drive it.

Airbag ' I was in an accident a few days ago. When I was hit head on, my airbags did not deploy. I also would like to put out there that my car was also totaled and when I was hit I was going 45, and the other driver was going 60. Which is quite a hefty impact for a small car being hit by a lifted 2016 Toyota Tundra, and for the airbags not to deploy. I am going to be suing Dodge.

This is for recall V34. Which was issued early in the year. My wife was driving down the highway, 1 near robinson Illinois to be exact and the car just stopped driving forcing her to steer onto the side of a very busy highway! this could have been very bad!!!! I find it insane that Chrysler is dragging their feet on this part! my wife could have been killed!!!!! not too mention if my daughter and I were in the car when this happened. Chrysler knows this part and these cars are unsafe but are not willing to do anything about it! on top of everything you want me to dish out the money to put another recalled part on my car, no thanks!! do something about this.

I was pulling out of my driveway and went to shift from reverse to drive. My shift would move, but my car was stuck in neutral. I had to push my car out of the road and since it was not in park, could not completely turn it off and remove my key. I set the emergency brake and had to disconnect battery since accessories would not turn off. Car was towed to dealership on 08/09/2019. Per recall, the recall covers Dodge Dart compact cars from 2013 through 2016 with six-speed automatic transmissions. The company says a bushing can fail, causing the shifter cable to come loose from the transmission. That means when a driver shifts to park or another gear, the gear may not change and the car could roll away. Parts for recall will not be available until September. Dealership cannot fix at this time and manufacturer offered no assistance.

While driving the screen will randomly go completely black and then start flickering white - my dash is now doing the same, simultaneously. However, the screen lights (speed, miles, mpg, etc) stay dim to where I can't even read what is says. My speedometer and gauges will give out and then proceed to quickly flicker up and down. After about 30 seconds of this happening, the whole electronic system resets itself. This has happened 5 times within the last two days, within a maximum of 4 total hours driving time. When starting my car, it hesitates to start - it makes clicking noises prior to actually starting. The battery is fairly new as well. My center console randomly stops working, I have zero control over the radio / climate function. Even after disconnecting the battery, the problem resumes. The uconnect doesn't work - no phone system, or bluetooth music. The back-up camera has completely gone out. There seems to be several issues with the Dodge Dart that go unsolved and are a huge safety risk.

There's an active recall on my 2013 Dodge Dart aero for the shifting cable bushing. I was driving home from work and my traction control light came on, I lost the ability to accelerate, my car wasn't registering it was in park so I couldn't turn it off. I had it towed to a dealership on main street in norristown, pa. Mopar said the part won't be shipped to dealers for the recall until the end of August so they want to put another faulty part in. They are telling me I have to pay for it and mopar says they are not doing at repayments. They have also refused to give me a loaner car in the mean time. I don't feel as a consumer that I should have to pay for this or a rental because this is a recall issue. It is not safe to drive this car. I was very lucky no one else was on the road when mine failed, and that I was able to pull over safely without harming myself or anyone else.

My husband was parking my car he went to put the gearshift in reverse and it would not move from drive. The car then would not shift into any other gears we had the car towed. It starts and everything but it cannot be shifted into gear I saw a recall saying that you guys recalled the gear thing for the transmission in my car the only problem is the dealerships are saying they don't have the part I need my car fixed asap

The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while at an intersection yielding the right of way to a pedestrian. The vehicle behind crashed into the rear of the contacts vehicle. The seat belts for the driver, front passenger and rear passenger failed to remain latched during the crash. In addition, no airbags deployed and the contact mentioned that the entire rear seat row detached causing her child seated in the rear to come in contact with the front driver side seat during the crash. The contact and her 2 children sustained whiplash injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was taken to a collision center where the bumper was replaced but the cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to follow up with her insurance company to contact them. The failure mileage was approximately 10,155.

Was driving my 2013 Dodge Dart, when I went to park the shifter would move but it was not actually changing gears. I had to turn on emergency brake and turn engine off I am now unable to take key out and I had to let the battery die, the vehicle is now disabled in front of a friends house and I am unable to move it.

I have been financing this car since 2013, and so far it's been on the recall list twice, however this time it's been labeled damaged goods by the insurance companies and geico recently terminated my policy as a result of this, and no other insurance company is willing to take a risk and insure this particular vehicle, so I'm stuck paying for a car I can't even drive, the fca sent me another letter telling me that there's another defective issue with this vehicle and as soon as the part comes into stock they'll let me know so I can take it back to the dealership and have the issue addressed, but because my insurance company has terminated my policy I can't even driver the car there, and I no longer feel safe in this particular vehicle anymore because it has too many defects and keep winding up on the recall list, it possibly falls under the lemon laws and I don't think it's fair to have to continue making payments on a defective vehicle that I can't even drive, so I'm looking for a logical resolution out of concern for me and my family safety, like being able to trade it in for a safer car
