The contact owned a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, she was rear-ended by a vehicle at approximately 45 MPH. White smoke emitted from the front driver-side air bag upon impact; however, the air bag failed to deploy. The contact, who was 16 weeks pregnant at the time of the accident, was transported to the hospital via an ambulance where she was treated for whiplash and a blackened right eye. She was later sent to a chiropractor for further examination due to ongoing neck and back pain suffered from the accident. The contact stated that all tests related to her pregnancy came back clear. The other driver was drunk at the time of the accident and was arrested, they did not suffer any injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a Ford dealer where they assessed for damages and deemed the vehicle a total loss. The contact also notified Brad Deery Motors(112 N 2nd St, Maquoketa, IA 52060) about the accident but they offered no assistance; she was referred by the dealer to the NHTSA. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Had this 2015 Dodge Dart for 1 week. The airbag light came on and would not go off. I took it to a Dodge dealership and they quoted me $546.74 for a car that I bought a week ago, for a manufacturing issue that was obviously not caused by me. The light came on when the car was stationary after sitting for a day. This is clearly a safety risk for myself and the car.

Hi on new years eve my brakes failed and I hit a dog going 45 mph then on Jan 5 a 18 wheeler came over on me and I hit my brakes going 70 mph on interstate but never slowed down it did make a mark in the road but no.sounds or anything. I got over as much as I could I hit the guardrail then spun in two lanes and hit the other guardrail. Not one airbag came out. A few months before that my brake booster went out. Also I have a recall on my transmission but they don't have the part to fix it so it could be throwed I to neutral without a notice.. I have pictures of the car the accident the brake booster and a police report. The car only has about 80,000 miles on it and the 2013 and 2014 all have brake problems and online alot of people complain about 2015 brakes and airbags. I feel these cars should be pulled off the market I still owe alot of money on this car and.forking out over another $500 or more to fix it so I can drive it.

Takata recall - my airbag light has come on and will not go off. Along with the swiggly road light. No one understands why they are on. The other issue being the shifter cable of the car, I have used my shifter and the car does not actually shift in motion on the highway. My breaks, however, did work so I used them. I believe this was unsafe because on the highway people drive very fast. If I was trying a manual Dodge Dart I would not have been able to stop. After this happened I stopped using the manual shifter while driving. When I put my car in park or reverse however it shifts very abruptly. This has happened for a while now but I thought it was because my foot wasn't on the brake hard enough but it continued to happen.

Driving car normally. I parked in a parking lot and went into a store. When I came out to start the car it would not start. Charging indicator light and check engine light came on. Auto zone was in the plaza so I had the guy come out and do a diagnostic. Codes were P0123, P2122, P2127, P0222, U0401. When the guy went back into the store the car started. When I parked again 10 minutes later the check engine and charge light disappeared. Car ran fine for one day. About 33 hours after that incident I parked the car at a park for lunch from work. Took a walk and when I returned car never came on. Dash was flickering, all lights illuminated, mileage was flashing, gauges were flickering, car would not turn over. Acted as if battery was dead. Had to walk back to work and have car towed by aaa after work. Car has been sitting for 4 days and will not turn on. New messages came up: Check electric braking system, check air bags, service tire pressure system and check anti lock brakes system. The tire light is on me because a sensor in the passenger tire broke when I got a flat hitting a curb while parking. I replaced the tire but not the sensor. Also now the uconnect and radio not coming on and battery light comes on, and when I made attempt to start a message came up stating engine warming up"?" that was weird. This all happened all of a sudden within a two day span. Now I am stuck paying for a car I cant drive that is going crazy electronically.

Between first St. And arcane St. Going home on Sunday 2/25/2018 and the air bag never came out and I ended it P with a swollen lips and neck/back pain due to the impact received at the time of me hitting the steering wheel as I did not had any protection. At the previously mentioned the stop light was red and there was an SUV in from of me and myself waiting for the stop light to turn green when the only thing I felt was the impact full speed from behind that me been the middle car end it up hitting the car in from of me. I cant even imagine that my kids where in there. As you notice the entire trunk was pushed into the back seats. I have attached the pictures of my person, the car and the steering wheel.

I was driving on the highway and the car started shaking when I reached 65 mph. When I got to 70 mph, it stopped I thought I was okay but I wasn't. the tire separated from the axle and the lower control arm fell off causing me to crash. I ran into a guardrail and if it wasn't there, the car wouldn't have stopped and I could possibly be dead. Upon impact, the air bags didn't deploy either. This is life threatening. Something needs to be done about this vehicle!!! this isn't the first time the control arm fell off. It fell off 3 other times to. I am fed up with Chrysler. They won't do anything about this vehicle. It is a casket on wheels. It is a death trap and the next time something like this happens, the person might not live to tell the story. Hopefully nothing like this happens but if it does, maybe it will wake Chrysler the [xxx] up!!!! information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

My 2015 Dodge Dart was the victim of a high speed collision...unfortunately as extensive as the impact was none of the airbags deployed in my vehicle as I spun uncontrollably and bang my head on the steering wheel and side of the car. I purchased this car because I was impressed by all of the safety features and the one feature that could save my life was defective.
