Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L

Our 2005 Caravan will not start if the DVD player, radio, or doors are open for more than 3 minutes with the car turned off. We have to jump start the vehicle each time. The dealer said this was normal. I understand the power is being pulled from the battery (new battery by the way) but after 3 minutes? The lights, horn and everything works but vehicle will not turn over. I don't know but I've never experienced anything as sensitive as the vehicle.
