When starting the vehicle about 3 months ago the van began to stall immediately after it started. Today while driving the van shut off on me at a stop. Tried several times to get it restarted but after a few minutes it finally started. No one was injured or damage. I began looking through recalls fir the win module and found there was already a recall for 2009 and 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan.

The van shuts of randomly and loses power steering and brakes. This has occurred multiple times. Multiple visits to mechanic have failed to find a solution. Based on online postings, this appears to be a routine problem that Dodge has failed to address.

The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle completely shut off. The vehicle was placed in neutral and started to reverse. There is a problem with my wireless ignition node (win) that causes my van's engine to shut off randomly while it is being driven. This has happened at least 25 times over the past two years, during times of high speed, low speed, and stopped at intersections. There is zero warning and the issue does not trigger any check engine light. There is a recall related to this exact issue (R03/NHTSA 14V-373) that has already been issued for "most" 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, but I am told my VIN does not qualify! this recall must be updated to include all 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan as soon as possible. The repair needed to correct the problem is over $1000 and this issue poses a significant safety hazard!

My Dodge Grand Caravan, 2010, has started cutting off on me while driving. My stabilizer light comes on, rpms drop to 0, and I lose my power steering along with low break reaction. I feel this is very unsafe. I have changed several sensors to no avail. I started doing research and found that they have safety recall L25. Called my local Dodge dealership to set up the repair, only to find out my van was not included in the recall, even though it is in the alotted years (2008-2010). What am I supposed to do. This could easily cause a wreck

The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving approximately 45 mph, the electronic control system warning indicator illuminated and the steering ability, braking, and acceleration seized. The contact coasted the vehicle to a parking lot. When the vehicle was turned off and restarted, the contact drove home. The vehicle was taken to nichols Dodge in burlington, North Carolina in October of 2017 for a tipm issue. The dealer kept the vehicle for approximately 30 days, but was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. Beginning September 2017 to December 2017 (present): Multiple issues related to electrical: (1) engine stalled while driving at 30 mph (city street, driving straight), and lost power steering and brakes; (2) electrical system warning light has been coming on from September 2017 to December 2017 (present). Light often comes on when power window buttons are pressed; battery has been checked; alternator has been replaced twice (!) in December 2017 and warning light still comes on; (3) windows roll themselves down when vehicle is not running; this happened multiple times in winter and cold weather, there is no chance the window was left down by the driver; (4) head and tail lights blink when vehicle is not running; (5) rear seat power outlet not working; (6) rear defroster not working; (7) side mirror defrosters not working. Research into others with similar problems suggest defective tipm.

My wife's 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan is experiencing the exact issue described in recall L02 and described here... https://repairpal.com/recall/11V139000 but our VIN number was not included in the recall. Details of the issue: When driving on various streets (more often when on neighborhood streets), the van randomly shuts off. The dashboard lights remain on. The van can be put into neutral or park and restarted without issue. It has happened about eight times in the last couple of months and a few times in dangerous situations. It happens when driving straight or turning.

The tipm (totally integrated power module) is either defective, or damaged from weather exposure. Sparatic power issues are present causing odd things to go wrong, from the battery being drained, to backlight flickering on the dash, to upon exiting the vehicle attempting to lock vehicle to only have it unlock again, to also upon locking, having the front windows randomly go down.

The vehicle has shut down while driving about 15 times over the last 2 years. While driving, usually at slower speeds but once on the freeway and a few times at about 45 mph, the ABS light comes on and then everything shuts off -- engine, power steering, brakes -- everything. It is a miracle it hasn't killed us yet. We have taken it to the dealer several times and they can not replicate it or find any code that is the problem. It is not the ignition recall as we have had that fixed. During my research I have found that this is a problem with this vehicle.

Vehicle is stalling out without warning. I have noticed it is a common problem with the vans from Dodge and Chrysler. It is dangerous to drive, it stalls in traffic at idle or when pulling into traffic. When it stalls sometimes it will activatee the esp light and set off multiple obd2 codes, orbit will stall and not set off any lights.

Vehicle shuts off while in motion when I hit a bump. It happens at any speed. I have had to coast to the shoulder of the interstate in order to restart the vehicle. This very problem was recalled in vehicles manufactured through May 2010, but my vehicle is outside of the recall, as it was manufactured in September 2010. This is a very serious safety issue.
