A D V E R T I S E M E N T S
I have NEVER touched the spare tire under my truck. Driving down the road, the spare tire came loose and wedged under the trailer I was pulling. Looking under the truck, the cable that supports the spare tire SNAPPED. The tire was being dragged under my trailer, wedged under the trailer axle. Luckily, the trailer was there or that tire could have killed someone or cause a very serious crash. There is NO REASON that this cable should have snapped and caused this situation. Thankfully, no one got hurt, but now I am out $120+ for a new tire that was ruined because of this (and try to figure out what else is missing for me to re-hang the new spare under the truck...). NOT HAPPY...
