Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7L

after the chatter and hop started i immediately thought of rear wheel bearings. so i manipulated both rear tires and they seem to move axially(in and out) have not hoisted truck yet to see if bearing is wobbly. Is there any end float in the design of the rear end drive components. what are your thoughts on the possible problem. also the hop and chatter start and 120km/h
