The idler arm in the steering system rubs on the lower radiator hose. A hole has almost worn through this rubber hose. Luckily I noticed this or cooling the engine would not occur when there is radiator fluid all over the road. Appointment with Ford dealer next week for repair and hope Ford pays for this as every 3 years this will need repaired as this is Fords design flaw. Look at your Ford van and see - lay down under driver front near bumper not that far in and locate large rubber radiator hose and idler arm and see if rubber is wearing on yours.

Vehicle was into dealer in May 2014 for a leak in the coolant line into the radiator. Less than 6 months later, now a hose near the radiator leaking. Left trails of transmission fluid all over the subdivision. Had to get the van towed into Ford.
