We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Ford Transit Connect (although feel free to add yours here) -- probably because it's so new, but still that's definitely a good sign.
The 2010 Ford Transit Connect has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is also with the 2010 Transit Connect for major water leak.

premature brake wear -- 2011 Transit Connect:
I think that it is ridiculous that the brakes go out on a brand new car within 21,000 miles and they say this is standard wear and tear. Total BS!!! I do not use the van to haul heavy cargo so I am not sure why the brakes went out so early. THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM!! Read more »

dampers don't seem to work as good as when new -- 2010 Transit Connect:
WHEN SELECTING THE POSITION OF THE DAMPERS TO ADD AIR FROM THE HEATING OR COOLING TO A CERTAIN AREA, IE, FLOOR, FRONT ON, WINDSHIELD, THEY DON'T SEEM TO OPERATE AS WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS NEW. cargo door electric lock stopped working -- 2010 Transit Connect:
DEALER HAD DIFFICULTY FINDING PROBLEM, BUT WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE FLOODING OF THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE FLOORBOARD AND THAT I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A JUNCTION POINT FOR THE WIRING BETWEEN THE FRONT AND THE BACK, THEY FOUND IT READILY.
